Thwaite Bridge Cottage is a 17th century farmhouse nestling in a rural setting alongside the River Ure, just 3 miles from the market town of Hawes in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Imaginatively converted and retaining many original features and open fires, complemented with high quality furnishings it is a truly delightful spacious country cottage for couples, families or a group of friends. The ground floor features an old-style pantry, which has been adapted for extra storage for equipment (bikes, walking equipment etc) and food. Set within the grounds of the owner’s sheep farm and surrounded by stunning countryside it is in an excellent location for walkers, cyclists, artists and photographers. The garden is ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the picturesque stone villages and towns in this secluded valley and you may even spot the red squirrels.
