Mill haven is perfectly situated so you can walk into Dunster to sample all the delights including the imposing Dunster Castle (NT). During early December, the Dunster Candlelight Festival is well worth a visit. There are many highlights to enjoy during your stay in the area. In Minehead, there is the main train station or take the famous West Somerset Steam Railway, which travels along the coast and then inland to Bishops Lydeard. There is also a beach at Minehead and a promenade, where you can enjoy a walk and an ice cream. Take regular bus services along the coast to such highlights as Porlock and Lynton and Lynmouth. If you are coming with children, a day ticket can be purchased for Butlins on the seafront. Great walking opportunities can be found in the area on both the South West Coast Path and within Exmoor National Park. There are beaches at Dunster and Blue Anchor to enjoy. Beach 2 miles.
