The cottage provides open plan living accommodation downstairs with a comfortable living room featuring a stone fireplace with a wood burner and a spacious dining area, both with original beams. Outside there is plenty of space for games and alfresco dining, where you can take in the fantastic views and enjoy the atmosphere of country living. Set in the centre of Cornwall you are ideally placed to visit the many tourist attractions on offer, including the Eden Project, Lanhydrock House (NT), the many sandy surfing beaches on the north coast and the coastal villages including Port Isaac, made famous by the TV series Doc Martin, Tintagel and Boscastle. Also on this coast is the harbour town of Padstow and further down the coast, Newquay with its surfing beaches, zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium. On the south coast you will find the many beautiful gardens and the quaint harbour villages of Fowey and Mevagissey. Beach 10 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

Summary: Absolutely lovely 18th Century stone cottage with lots of space, peaceful and tucked away on Bodmin. No wifi, which was a blessing! But a reasonable 3G/4G signal. Furnished nicely. Good location for getting to the north and south coasts and lots of entertainments within a short drive. Lovely walks from the cottage, St Neots with a pub is a 2-3 mile walk. Really enjoyed our time here with 7 family members (6 adults). In these COVID times, need to bring towels, tea towels, handwash etc. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
