This part of the building has just three two bedroom apartments, each one finished to an extremely high standard. The building is situated off Bootham on a quiet street, facing the historic ruins of St Mary's Abbey. First built in 1088 it is all that remains of one of the wealthiest and most powerful Benedictine monasteries in England.
Museum Apartment - is situated on the first floor of the building. Walking into the living area of this apartment is like walking into a page of an interior magazine, from the floor to ceiling kitchen units and the sleek breakfast bar, to the wonderfully stylish dining chairs and table - the designer has put a great deal of thought to both the comfort and enjoyment of the guest. The large windows ensure that the apartment is flooded with light. The light airy feeling is continued through the apartment with the high ceilings and light wood floors. The lounge area has comfortable, stylish seating and a large smart TV for those times when you just want to stay inside and just kick back and enjoy the surroundings.

The second bedroom again has wall to wall storage and a wonderful double bed to sink into at the end of a very busy day of fun! The house bathroom serves this bedroom and has a walk in shower, again with underfloor heating.
