Summary: This small apartment is in a stunning location with an unmatched view of the beach. We are just a very short stroll down the hill to the beach on this protected bay. My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in late September, past the real tourist season but we had wonderful walking weather, cool but mostly sunny. The apartment is very small. For two it worked well and there was a bunk bed beside the double but it would be a bit snug for more than 2 people. But for using the beach, you couldn't be better located. We wanted to visit the area, the little villages and walk the Sentier des Douaniers and the apartment location worked very well as a base for seeing the area. Because it was past the season only two restaurants were open so our choices were limited in the evening but we did enjoy them both and went to others in the region for lunch. The apartment was very clean but the host only provided sheets for the bed. There were practically no supplies, one roll of toilet paper and nothing else besides soap. We asked the owner for towels as we are from the States and didn't bring anything like that with us and he did provide them. I do know that in the beach area that is often the case but I looked on the site when booking for towels and they were supposed to be provided. So do be aware of that. We have lived in France and done rentals often and mostly found much more in the way of basic supplies but the apartment itself was clean with necessary appliances, a tremendous location and view and was easy to find and book. The host was accommodating and flexible and we appreciated that! For scenery, it can't be beaten! Watching the huge tides, the sunsets and rises and the gorgeous beach was a delight.
