2 Bedroom House in Lessay

This two bedroom house was beautifully converted in 2011 from part of a 200 year old farm. It is furnished to a very high standard in a modern style whilst retaining its original features such as stone walls and beams. The two bedrooms are on the first floor, one with a single and a double bed, the other with a double bed. The triple bedroom is very large and can easily accommodate an extra single bed if needed. A baby cot & child stair gate is also available. The ground floor has a large lounge with a sofa-bed and a separate kitchen-diner. There are two bathrooms, one on each floor. The accommodation is light and spacious and contains everything needed for your comfort and enjoyment. Outside there are large gardens with a wildlife pond, a BBQ terrace, table tennis, a wooded area bounded by a small stream all surrounded by open meadows with grazing cows. An adjoining barn houses an indoor games room with snooker (small size), darts,etc. Adult & child bikes & a car bike rack is available - FREE for our guests. There is secure parking in the grounds. The property is 15 minutes walk to the historic town of Lessay with its wonderful Abbey, fishing lake, Go-Karting, shops, bars and restaurants and only 5 km from the fabulous sandy beaches of St-Germain-sur-Ay & Creances. Summary: Since almost 8 years, I didn't feel more relax after our staying in Lessay by Larry & Lesley. The flair of that house is very inspiring to relax and shut down. The history of that house which was an old and most probably the oldest farm in Lessay is exceptional. The emplacement of perfect in the Contentin and Larry is a very interesting person to meet and know. Always helping not only by words but by action as well to support our staying and feel in holiday. The garden has little flair of Giverny "Monet". I was in my childhood often in Normandie living in Paris and I discover the Contentin and the people living there. Our two daughters and my wife + two dogs felt home in a really nice garden. Bike, billiard, table tennis, culture, weather really nice with some refreshment of nice light rain. Being near the seaside was very healthy and visit Portbail etc...not too far from the Suisse Normande, the D-Day Débarquement, Cherbourg, Sainte-Mère l'église etc... We will definitely come next summer if the time gives us the opportunity to be the guest by Lesley & Larry. Thank you again Lesley & Larry Sincères salutations & Liebe Grüße Famille Lee
