Summary: If you are looking to relax and feel at home, this is the house for you. Plenty of space with 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen and utility area. Pretty, sunny gardens, front and back, complete with table, chairs, parasol and BBQ allowing you to fully appreciate long summer days. Both gardens are fully secure which is essential if, like us, you have a dog. Easy driving to D Day beaches, Bayeux, Granville, Coutances and Mont St Michel to name a few. We also loved our visit Barneville-Carteret, where there is Cliff top walk to a stunning dog friendly beach (except July and August). Montmartin Sur Mer is a pretty little town, extremely clean with everything you need (groceries/fuel etc) and within walking distance or a quick drive to supermarket. On the same site is a bakery, cafe and fish shop. The market on a Wednesday is worth a visit for fresh produce. The hosts, Jean-Jacques and Sophie are very welcoming and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and felt very much at home and would have no hesitation to return if the opportunity arises.
