Welcome to our family home, built in 1868, nestled in the heart of the Périgord Noir and the Dordogne Valley. Situated on a private 15-hectare estate with breathtaking views of the Bastide town of Domme, it offers an ideal setting for a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature.
Modernization work was carried out in 2025: the kitchen and bathroom were completely renovated, and a shower room and toilet were added.
Just 500 meters from the Dordogne River (accessible by foot), you can enjoy swimming, a canoeing center, and a restaurant. The region's most beautiful tourist sites are nearby: Sarlat, Beynac, Domme, and La Roque-Gageac, among other beautiful villages. Visiting the many medieval castles nearby will make you fall in love with this wonderful region of the Périgord Noir (Castelnaud, Les Millandes, Marqueysac, etc.).
Vitrac is a charming little village just a stone's throw from the estate. We particularly recommend a visit to "Chez Ninon," a delicatessen/tea house, where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning or a drink in the evening.
The region is renowned for its gastronomy; don't miss the markets in Sarlat (Saturday), Cénac (Tuesday), and Saint-Cyprien (Wednesday and Sunday). There are also numerous restaurants.
In addition to visiting villages, castles, and gardens, you can also have fun in treetop adventure parks, via ferrata, hot air ballooning, canoeing, and golf.

Summary: A well equipped house in the most spectacular part of the Dordogne with stunning views of the picturesque hilltop village of Domme.Large grounds, big bedrooms and a 2 minute walk to the village bar and creperie.Canoeing on the river Dordogne is a 4 minute drive, Domme is 10 minute drive, and the amazing town of Sarlat 10 mins away too.We would like to make a return visit.
