Ideally located. Set in the outskirts of the small village of Badefols sur Dordogne. A shady private garden of nearly an acre, altogether 25 acres of woodlands and meadows. Badefols (1,5 km) has a bakery and a tennis court, for a complete selection of shops and services as well as bi-weekly markets (Thursday & Saturday) Lalinde is only 5 kms away.
The accommodation is divided in two buildings, the main house and the guest house (with a studio accessible for disabled persons). The kitchen was completely renovated in 2008. English TV. The swimming pool (11x5) is set in a sunny paved terrace in a corner of the property. Safe for children. There is a small pool-house with a fridge.
The property is perfect for 10 guests, has room for up to 12.

Summary: We had a great week at Le Sizel. The house had more than enough space for us (5 adults and 5 children ranging from 8 months - 5 yrs), and was very comfortable. We particularly appreciated the air conditioning. Pool was safe as it is accessed through a doorway which can be locked, and there's a hard cover for it when not in use. Well equipped house, including the modern kitchen. We spent every evening sitting under the covered area in the garden - wonderful view over the fields. Eric was really quick to answer any questions we had, and a couple of small issues were dealt with quickly. Thank you for wonderful stay in your house - wish it could have been for longer!
