Positive: The location was really good - close to the center of the town and the winery, as well as to Colmar. The parking lot in front of the house is pretty big and it is free. It does however get quite busy so on one occasion we didn’t find any space but waited a few hours and it got freed. We liked the decor and both the bathtub and the shower were really good. It made us feel very relaxed. The bed was large and comfortable and we were happy with having a large fridge and a dishwasher.

Negative: We were disappointed with the lack of basic essentials provided. For a week-long stay, we only received two tea bags and a handful of coffee capsules, which felt insufficient for the price. The kitchen was also very poorly equipped — just metal bowls, one pot, minimal utensils, and no plates. If you plan on cooking, you need to bring your own supplies, as there were only a few basics like salt, sugar, and vinegar. Even the dishwasher had only 2–3 capsules. There were no kitchen paper towels, and we were given only two bath towels for the entire week, which we had to request replacements for — something that should be standard. The pillows were also quite small and not as comfortable as the bed, which affected sleep quality. Another issue was the heating. It’s centralized and shared with the room next door. Even though it was set to 21°C (later 22°C on request), the temperature felt inconsistent and often much colder, especially during the colder days of our stay. Finally, we received only three toilet paper rolls, one of which was already partly used.
