Settled since 1984 in Cerisé, Laurence and Jean de Valbray have restored their 18th century Logis where their family has grown year after year (5 children), then the adjoining 17th century farmhouse which they rent for the year. The barn which has now become the "La Grange de Cerisé" gîte was in poor condition... but there was no question of dropping these old stones! Passionate about architectural heritage, Jean carries out all these works by surrounding himself with competent regional craftsmen. By choice, they entrust the interview to integration associations to enable them to give work to those who may be weakened in their professional careers. They like to share with their hosts the good plans of the region: Gastronomy and good local products, cultural activities, walks, spiritual tourism with in particular the birthplace of Ste Thérèse and the life of Louis and Zélie Martin whom Laurence knows by heart!
