Ideally located between the Gironde and Charente regions in a small hamlet in the heart of the countryside, this charming, fully renovated former barn is perfect for a peaceful getaway.
The 100 m² cottage comprises, on the ground floor, a large open-plan kitchen/living room and a pantry. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with direct access to the vineyard through a bay window (one 160/200 cm bed), a second bedroom overlooking the countryside (two 90/200 cm beds), a bathroom with a shower and sink, a toilet, and a landing.
Access to the upper floor is via a staircase; this should be taken into account for elderly guests and young children.
The cottage is fully equipped with all necessary appliances, dishes, and linens.
The terrace and garden are furnished so you can dine al fresco and relax in the sun, weather permitting.

Summary: We loved this property nestled among a beautiful landscape of picturesque vineyards and small villages. The house itself is spacious, clean, well appointed, and very comfortable. We appreciated every moment of the three weeks we spent there, from the very warm welcome we received from Patrice to the many discoveries we made in the area. We had convenient access to the market and stores, the coast, the Bordeaux region, and many other local treasures. It was just the kind of retreat we needed. Highly recommend!
