Summary: Beautiful little hotel that is perfect for exploring Tours or nearby Loire Valley chateaux. The proprietors were very friendly and suggested a local restaurant that was delicious. The hotel is a short walk from excellent restaurants, bars, and shopping. We had a lovely little balcony in room 4, which is huge by European standards. The bathrooms are very nice with lots of hot water. The decor is eclectic and fun. Highly recommend!

Summary: I enjoyed my seven nights stay at the Hotel du Cygne. Certainly, it is convenient. A 10 minute walk from the bus station, one minute walk to a fabulous row of restaurants and great access to the river, museums, and people watching. The hotel itself is in good condition and has a friendly staff. I stayed in room 22 and it was comfortable and clean with a good view, however, I would comment that if you are a tall person, perhaps this is not the best room for you. There are some low beams and the toilet is really made for a short person as it’s difficult to use given the slant of the roof and the beams. Certainly next time I would stay in another room that was more comfortable for a tall person. Otherwise, everything was great!

Summary: Accommodation at this hotel was superb! Most comfortable bed and pillow on our European trip so far! Breakfast was fresh and plenty of variety on offer. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Great location to walk around city and train station a 20 min walk away. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: Loved this small, eclectic hotel. It has personality. Room was surprisingly spacious for France, breakfast was good, staff was helpful, bill was ready before I asked for it. It's in a good area for dining out and walking. One small drawback-no elevator.
