Stately homes, Coughton Court, the National Trust property linked to Guy Faulks and the gunpowder plot and Ragley Hall are great for outings. Walkers can explore the Arden and Heart of England Way and Oversley Wood and Cold Comfort Wood on the doorstep. Stratford-upon-Avon, Evesham and the Cotswolds are nearby. Summary: A beautiful place to stay! Caroline and Paul were so friendly and welcoming.Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need!We had a lovely, relaxing break, the bed was very comfortable and the cottage was warm and cosy.The surrounding area was beautiful and it was nice to be close to Alcester so we could just wander down and have a meal and a little wander.
