Positive: where does one start? The property is newly renovated. Everything about it is gleaming. They have thought of everything: electronic outside shutters, mosquito grills on windows; motion sensors lights to guide you to the bathroom. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Large shower room with rain shower and hand shower, washing machine/dryer in alcove. Well equipped kitchen area with everything one would need for a short or longer stay. Beers, wine and soft drinks in the fridge at reasonable prices. Coffee, tea and sugar.in the cupboard. Outside there is a garden with a table and chairs under a beautiful tree illuminated with fairy lights. We arrived at the property around 4pm. Our car had been giving us trouble on the journey and we asked if there was a garage in the area. Gabriella, our host, immediately phoned her husband, who phoned a friend, who owned a garage. He suggested we brought it in immediately. She drove to the garage with my husband following in our car. he left it there and she drove him back to the property. As we were carless and too tired to walk into town, Gabriella, suggested that their next door neighbour, Monica, who runs a small catering business, cook for us . That night we ate a beautiful meal under the stars The next morning, Gabriella, brought us a bowl of fruit and some croissants because she knew we didn't have anything. They constantly kept in touch with the garage and when it was finally repaired, Gabriella drove, Steve, my husband, to the garage to pick up the car. We were only booked in for one night, they had more guests arriving that day , but we were never put under pressure to leave, and they didn't expect to be compensated for the inconvenience. I really can't praise them enough. They were kind, interesting and entertaining.. I feel we have made friends. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the world was full of people like this. ps I never write reviews.
