Summary: We had a fantastic fortnight’s stay in Sylvie’s wonderful gîte. The location is sensational - right in the heart of the medieval city. It felt a privilege to be there, it’s so special. Check-in could not be easier - a number code, provided in advance. Also good instructions for where to park the car (there’s a permit for free parking and we never struggled to get a spot even in August).The gîte was clean, well furnished and equipped and very comfortable (inc the beds!). Excellent washing machine, dishwasher and hob. The open plan living area is a generous size and allowed us to relax in comfort.Worth noting that It was boiling hot whilst we were there, but we were able to regulate the temperature pretty well with the excellent fans and using the window shuttersThere’s an incredible bakery across the street - they also have a garden in which you can eat their lovely pastries and coffee. Lots of wonderful places to eat within a very short walk. We’d be delighted to return one day! Not least also because Sylvie is so lovely, helpful and accommodating.
