Summary: Flaine on the whole looks tired and whole sale, the apartment itself was tired and not clean, dust everywhere and things still in the fridge and wardrobes the walls had dust balls stuck to them like no one had looked up for a year! It was a shame, the place is ski in ski out but expect to do lots and lots of walking on the flat on your skis The resort supermarkets are seriously over priced with a small jar of honey costing 7euro In comparison to what on face value seem like more expensive resorts work out cheaper when you compare the lift passes and ski lesson costs and ski hire! Oh and the extortionate cost of food in local super markets The only saving grace was the restaurant in the eos which was great the food was consistently good and although not the cheapest at least it wasn’t fast food or self service which seems to be the norm in Flaine.
