Positive: Initially I was given exactly what I had booked - a single bed and a cozy room, which also had a bathtub in the bathroom - something you don't get in small room bookings. Later when I asked about the radiator heating system not working which made the room feel cold, I was pleased with the free upgrade to a double bed large room which was also 3 floors above my 1st floor room which had better views.

Negative: The stay would have been perfect if the heating system in this upgraded room would actually heat the room instead of heating itself. I like cold so i decided to just tuck in the blanket and sleep as I was leaving early morning so didn't bother further.

Summary: Would definitely book again if going to Folkestone again, very happy with my experience.
