Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Gorgeous lodge and the hot tub was nice and hot on arrival(especially pleased that it was fresh water and got drained and cleaned on exit ready for the next guests). Location was good.

Negative: The standard of cleanliness sadly let it down. Visible dust behind the tv, one sofa had dog hairs on it and when we turned the cushions over there was a line of food debris down in between the cushions. The other sofa had stains on it. Found Hairs in the en suite sink and In the shower. Disappointed to find the sheet on the double bed had what appeared to be a cigarette burn hole in it - they were clean but why would you reuse the sheet - get it binned! Gas bottles ran out on the morning of departure and we had paid for late check out til 12. Tried to call the company and went to voicemail they never rang back. Luckily the nice hot tub guy who came to drain the tub sorted it for us but the new gas didn’t come til gone 11.30.

Summary: Lovely lodge but cleaners need to do a deep clean.
