Summary: We enjoyed our stay, the pool was lovely and the pool staff were very friendly. The restaurant and bar was fantastic and we really enjoyed our meal there. The only thing we would offer as feedback is how check in is conducted. When we arrived, we were met with frustration that we had not 'read the terms and conditions' as we did not have our ID or a physical card for the damage payment. When I mentioned that we just hadn't seen it, I was told 'well it is there, you're the third person who hasn't read it today'. As this didn't end up being an issue (I was able to use my phone to make the payment and use a photo of my ID) I think it would be better to not make guests feel awkward right as they arrive! I would also say that the terms are not clear on hotels.com, as they are only visible behind a button on the booking page. I was sent an email before arriving with other instructions; if this was so crucial I would recommend putting it in that email also! This did make me feel less welcome than I would have liked. We did have a slight problem with our TV and this was sorted out very promptly.
