Rame Cottage is a pretty 3 bedroom Cottage on the Rame Peninsula - often called Cornwall's hidden gem. It's located in the heart of the wonderful Cornish village of Millbrook, close to gorgeous sandy beaches and dramatic cliff top walks. It's very close to the villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, a few minutes by ferry to Plymouth.
This is the first year that Rame Cottage has been available to rent and it's newly furnished with a mixture of good quality beds and sofas from John Lewis and some classic mid-century modern furniture.
There's plenty of room for a family to spread out and it's comfortable and cosy. The cottage is on 3 levels. Downstairs there's a good sized sitting room, with 2 sofas, a sunny table in the window with chairs - perfect for breakfast - and a woodburning stove. There's a new smart TV, and wifi router that covers the whole house.
There's a great cook's kitchen with a 6 burner, 2 oven stove, generous worktops and a dishwasher. There's a big new fridge and a good sized table that seat 6-8 easily (we've managed to get 10 around it).
On the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms - a sunny double, with a new kingsized bed from John Lewis, and a twin with new single beds (also John Lewis) - there's also a good sized family bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a heated towel rail. There's plenty of storage available in the bedrooms and also in the adjoining dressing room.
On the top floor is the master-bed room, with a new king size bed, lots of space and an en-suite bathroom.
Outside there's a very large, terraced garden. We've just built a new terrace with a BBQ and table and chairs - it's a great spot to sit in the sun, have lunch or watch the sun go down over the valley. On the top levels, there are 2 greenhouses, raised beds and a grassy area with 2 fruit trees. The garden backs onto farmland and has views over the valley.
