Spacious well equipped villa situated a10 minute walk away from the centre of Ceret, a lively and attractive medieval market town with restaurants , bars , patisseries and cafes in the shade of the tall plane trees that line its streets and squares. Ceret has a rich cultural history as many famous artists have lived and painted here including Picasso, Matisse and Braque. The long sandy beaches of Argeles and Canet are 30 minutes drive away, or you can reach the coves and beaches of the Spanish Costa Brava in less than an hour. Ceret is only 15 minutes drive away from the Spanish border and there is a strong Catalan influence in the architecture and food. The Saturday morning food market is a delight.

Summary: Loved the house, had a wonderful time with family and friends. The house had everything you could possibly want. However the pool was not so great, it was a green cloudy colour for the two weeks we were there.
