Pear Tree Cottage has been renovated in the first half of 2021 by the interior designer owner as a home away from home with vintage finds.
The cottage is superbly located with amazing views across the creeks to Scolt Island. The Coastal Path is a 150m walk from the cottage.
Off road parking for two cars. All local attractions, pubs and shops are either a walk or a short drive away - White Horse pub is 200m, Brancaster Staithe harbour is a 10 minute walk, Burnham Market is 5 minute drive.
The space
The spacious entrance hall has a long bench, perfect for taking off your boots and oyster baskets to store sandy shoes & flip flops. Double doors onto a pretty patio garden with dining table & chairs and a couple of sun-loungers if you don't make it to the beach.
The Lounge and Dining Room are open plan with white oiled floorboards throughout and decorated in a palette of green hues. The modern galley kitchen has a door onto the garden, perfect for alfresco dining.
Through the kitchen there is a shower room with wc.
On the first floor, there are two bedrooms. The double bedroom has a beautiful iron bedstead with reading lights and a lovely coastal view of the creeks. The twin room has painted single beds and window with shutters onto the front garden. The main bathroom is on the first floor with roll top bath.
The second floor is the master bedroom with super-king bed on a gorgeous vintage Moroccan carpet. The window seat has a stunning view of the coast & big sky. At high tide you can watch a hive of boating activity.
The period cottage has narrow stairs which we have photographed - some less mobile guests may find these difficult.
Pear Tree Cottage has off street parking for two cars at the front of the cottage.
Saturday changeover during holiday periods. No pets.
