Positive: This is the cutest little hotel! We loved the vintage and homey feel…it was like staying with friends. Bathrooms were updated, the balcony was perfect, the food was amazing. The location is the best…you can simply walk to the Col Riser lift. We actually hiked from the hotel to Seceda one morning (perfect for getting up there before the crowds) and then rode the Col Riser back down. The hotel owner, Matteo, is amazing! He’s been running the hotel since he was young and his daughter now helps out. He gave us so much great information, from things to do, to places to eat, to hiking directions. And on the morning we left, it was my birthday, and he had set up the most beautiful and sweetest birthday surprise for breakfast including cake with a candle and prosecco. The breakfast there is phenomenal!!! Literally the BEST breakfast I’ve had at any hotel in any country ever. I took pictures of it.😉 This is the way to experience the Dolomites!! Forget large boring sterile hotels with no character or history. This is the hotel you want!
